Invens Royal R2 Flash File Lcd Fix 2Nd Update | Firmware | Sp7731

Invens has released a new flash file for the R2. The file, which is available for download on their website at www.invens-america.com, fixes the LCD and fixes the proximity sensor problems that appeared with the original release of this model. The fix is the update of the original update. While the update was previously unavailable to us, it has become available recently through other sources. However, if you wish to download it directly from Invens, please follow the instructions below. The new file does NOT erase your IMEI number; however, if anything goes wrong with the process, you should immediately contact Invens for support. For more information on this file and the previous one please visit www.invens-america.com/R2_SP7731_firmware.php for details. The Sp7731 is a Network EDGE enabled cellphone that works on the T-Mobile network in the US. As of 3/17/2010, it has been reported that this specific phone will not work on AT&T's Cingular network. It also does not support CDMA networks like Verizon and Sprint. However, you can use this phone with Google Mobile services to provide notification emails and other web based data to your phone. The Sp7731 is a mid-range, dual flip phone that uses a small external touch screen to navigate the phone's menus. The touch screen replaces the traditional scrolling keypad of previous Invens phones. This phone has a 2.0 MP camera with video capture capability, bluetooth capabilities, and an mp3 player. There is a slot for an optional microSD card to expand the phones memory up to 8 GB. The Invens R2 carries on Invens tradition of providing inexpensive cellphones with features usually reserved for more costly models from competitors such as LG and Samsung. For instance, this new model has been compared favorably with LG CU920 cellphones which are generally considered to be high-end models. Also, the R2's 2.0 MP camera with video recording capability outperforms many cellphones in the same price range. An official review of this phone by a T-Mobile network employee can be found at http://www.tmonews.com/2010/02/15/tmo-reviews-the-invens-r2/ . Another independent review can be found at http://www.mobileburn.com/17174_Invens_R2__Phone_Review__Unlocking_and_More__Video_.html . Invens has been working hard to provide a continuing flow of flash updates for their phones via their website.
